Claudia is crazy. Stark mad crazyballs. She is the Iyengar goddess with all the props to get PERFECT alignment. For the love of god don’t tell her you’d like to try working on a pose, an hour class will quickly become a 2 hour workshop and you’ll curse the day you ever bought up bloody Trikonasana!
She wants you to learn, and learn right. “You can have fun in the other classes once you can do it properly” I remember her saying once. And boy does she care. she will explain in the absolute minutest detail a pose’s correct alignment.
Her thick Italian accent is lilting and dreamy but her wicked sense of humor quickly reminds you that this woman means business.
I can’t recommend her classes enough, although they are rather difficult to find. She has virtually no internet presence and doesn’t teach too often, once or twice a week at Triyoga max. Get in whenever you can, you won’t regret it (unless you’re asking for it).
